Graduated in Medicine from the University of Barcelona and earned a Cum Laude doctorate in 1993. He directed the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine at the Institut Universitari Dexeus from 2004 to 2020. He is now President of the Dexeus Mujer Foundation and Director of the Chair of Research at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.
Prof. Ana Teresa Almeida Santos
MD, Ph.D., and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Coimbra, Portugal, specializing in Gynecology/Obstetrics and Reproductive Medicine. She led the Human Reproduction Department at Centro Hospitalar e Universitário de Coimbra (2005–2020) and the Laboratory of Biology of Reproduction (2003–2010). Former President of the Portuguese Society of Reproductive Medicine (2012–2018), she held leadership roles in European gynecological societies.
