Prof. Raoul Orvieto is a full professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology and incumbent of the Tarnesby-Tarnowski Chair for Family Planning and Fertility
Regulation, at the Gray Faculty of Medical and Health Science, Tel-Aviv University, Israel. Prof. Orvieto is the director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, at the Sheba (Tel-Hashomer) Medical Center, Israel. Between 2022-2025, Prof. Orvieto was the president of the Israel Fertility association (IFA). Since 2025, he serves as a Board member of the European Society of Gynecology and member of the IFFS Scientific
Committee.

Prof. Ariel Weissman graduated from the Hadassah–Hebrew University Medical School in Jerusalem in 1988. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kaplan Medical Center, Rehovot, in 1994, and subsequently served for two years as a senior physician in the IVF Unit. Prof. Weissman then undertook a two-year clinical and research fellowship under Professor Bob Casper at the Division of Reproductive Sciences, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Toronto, Canada. Upon returning to Israel in 1998, he joined the IVF Unit in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wolfson Medical Center, affiliated with Tel Aviv University’s Faculty of Medicine, where he now holds the position of Full Professor.
