He is a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics and coordinator of the specialty at CUF Porto Hospital, where he is also part of the Women’s Center and the Fetal Medicine Unit. He is an expert in gynecological oncology, laparoscopy, menopause, and the treatment of endometriosis. Dr. Cláudio Tomé Rebelo actively participates in scientific and medical societies, with a notable current role as President of the Portuguese Menopause Section within the Portuguese Society of Gynecology, leading training initiatives and congresses, and promoting a multidisciplinary approach to menopause therapy. He is also a board member of the Portuguese Society of Contraception, contributing to topics related to family planning and contraceptive methods.

Dr. Santiago Palacios Gil-Antuñano
|
He was the founder of the first Menopause Unit in Spain. He is Director of the Palacios Institute of Women’s Health and Medicine, a leading gynecological center in Madrid that combines both medical care and research. He is the author of more than 400 scientific articles, books, and abstracts on women’s health, with an emphasis on menopause, osteoporosis, and female sexual dysfunction, and has been principal investigator in over 100 clinical trials. He is the Scientific Director of the ICOMEM Foundation (College of Physicians of Madrid), a position from which he promotes both in-person and online medical training. He has served as president of scientific societies such as SEGO, FEMYS, FHOEMO, AEEM, CAMS, IMS, and SIBOMM. He is currently a member of the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS) and the North American Menopause Society (NAMS).
